Tom Wiley’s entry into the hunting industry followed an unconventional path. In 1995, while working as an Emergency Room Nurse, Tom developed a game call design using surgical tubing. In 1998, Tom founded Wiley Outdoor Products to manufacture and market Flextone brand game calls. In 2000, after receiving a patent for his flexible game call design, he left his nursing career behind.
He has successfully marketed various game call designs (Flextone Brand Game calls and Remington Game Calls) to many major hunting retailers and distributors including Wal-Mart, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, Gander Mountain and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Tom sold the assets of Wiley Outdoor Products, LLC to Wildgame Innovations in late 2007, but is still involved in new product development. His vast experience in the hunting industry has contributed to a reputation within his territory as a well known expert in many facets of the industry and sport that he loves.
On the sales and marketing front, Tom has created many successful advertising campaigns and dealer/distributor promotions. His current web project will bring all of the dealers in the southeast territory up to cyber speed with some viral marketing through his web site and www.youtube.com. On the service front, Tom has developed relationships with the dealers and distributors in his territory that go beyond the ordinary. Training is key to Tom’s success and he has hosted many shooting/hunting/training events that have contributed to a team of experts behind the counter.
Charlie has worked in the Southeast for over 25 years, servicing Sporting Goods distributors, dealers, along with national and regional chain stores. As a manufacturer’s representative, he has worked in all aspects of the rep business but his true love is territory sales and management. Charlie has earned many sales awards over the years, but is especially proud of his 15 Nikon sales awards. He has been a rep principle, run the rep office and has spearheaded many, many agency marketing projects. Charlie works closely with all accounts in promoting and marketing products.
Dustin graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Marketing and has enjoyed working in the sporting goods industry for the past 8 years. Before joining the PMI team, he worked as the gun department manager for Final Flight Outfitters located in Union City, Tennessee where he managed everyday operations in the gun department, as well as the responsibilities of buying long guns, hand guns, optics, and a few hunting accessory categories.
He will now use his background in retail to relate to his customers on both sides of the counter. He will strive to make sure he builds positive relationships with his customers by maintaining a high standard of integrity and honesty. His character, along with a hard work ethic will assure that his customers are prepared for success through training and customer service as well as being up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry. As a devoted outdoorsman, Dustin is able to use his personal knowledge and experiences to understand what dealers, as well as consumers, need and want in quality outdoor products.
Joe is a Retired Detective with the New York City Police Department’s Detective Bureau Counter Terrorism and Training Unit. For many years, Joe has also worked at all of the major industry trade shows as a Nikon Pro Staff. Now as a full-time sales rep, Joe brings the ability to train others. He is a motivated, self starter and has proven to be a tireless worker. Joe received the Nikon 2008 Rookie of the Year Award and his success has quickly led to significant sales growth within his territory as well as additional awards including Nikon Rep of the Year 2011 and Elite Salesman 2012.
Jeff has been a Pro Staffer for outdoor and hunting products for over 10 years. He works numerous distributor and trade shows in the Southeast annually. Jeff is a dedicated sportsman that enjoys introducing people to the outdoors and encouraging them to get involved by showing them we are the conservationists and stewards of the land for future generations. Jeff has recently taken over the North Mississippi and North Alabama Territory and increased sales are already being realized. His product knowledge and impeccable customer service will ensure his success.
Suzanne has been keeping Tom Wiley straight for over 10 years and was an important part of the success of Flextone game calls in the early years. She continues to be a valuable part of the team and is available to help our manufacturers with a variety of tasks.
Avid outdoorsman, accomplished hunter, and sales professional. Kyle
worked as the Marketing Coordinator for PMI for a little over a year before moving to North Carolina to take over the North Carolina/Virginia Territory. Kyle graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Sports Management and has a real passion for the sporting goods industry. He brings five years of retail experience to the table as a buyer of soft goods and a manager of Final Flight Outfitters located in Union City, TN. Kyle has a broad range of knowledge in the retail market, and will use his skills to insure we he gives our vendors the best representation possible.
Larry brings a wealth of retail experience to the group. His focus is on customer service and building long-term relationships with the dealers and vendors. Larry has resided in Florida for 37 years and has worked in every geographical area in the state. He also has significant experience in Managing High Volume Big Box stores as well as multi unit responsibility. Positions held previously, District Manager Wal-Mart Stores, General Manager Bass Pro, Gander Mountain and Market Manager at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Experience coupled with knowledge of customer base, love for the outdoors and a
passion for the business make him a valuable addition to the PMI team.
John is the newest member of the sales team. He is the sales administrator for the team helping to provide the team with background support and logistics. John grew up fishing, canoeing, hiking, hunting, and shooting in the great state of Mississippi. After graduating from Mississippi State University with a degree in Philosophy and Religion and a passion to be in the outdoors he spent over a decade in the landscaping industry as a crew leader for high profile locations on the MSU campus. The logistics and supply training along with a strong emphasis on customer relations John learned on the job at MSU translates to a strong support structure within PMI. He is still an avid shooter, camper, hiker, bushcrafter, and occasional hunter. He is a leader in the local troop of Trail Life USA, a scouting organization and volunteers with other local outdoors groups. John’s passion for the outdoors extends to his passion to see PMI and its lines succeed.

Sales and Marketing Coordinator - Farris Brothers
Morris began his 30 plus years of experience in the outdoor industry in 1988 in a full line retail sporting goods store as a buyer and manager of operations. He then left retail and began his career in outside sales in 1998 as a factory representative and then moved into ownership of an independent sales group, Outdoor Marketing Alliance. There he has serviced the outdoor industry as a territory sales representative, vendor manager, and with marketing and product support. His experience also includes direct sales to buy group members, independents, distributors and Majors through the channels of hunting, fishing, sporting, occupational, Military and Tactical/LE. Now aligning OMA’s efforts with PMI to help grow and market their vendors in the sporting, outdoor, and tactical markets.
